ATTENTION FLORIDA BIKERS!!!

The State of Florida is attempting to get tough on motorcyclists riding recklessly, with the introduction of a new bill in the State House of Representatives.

HB137 2008 specifies that if a law enforcement officer charges a person with reckless driving, or driving 30mph over the speed limit, and who was riding a motorcycle at the time, the officer must arrest the rider, take him or her into custody, and seize the motorcycle, which will be subject to forfeiture under Florida's Contraband Forfeiture Act.

If that person is convicted, the court will order the Department of Motor Vehicles to revoke their motorcycle endorsement, and leave them only with the ability to drive a cage.

Nutshelled, this bill has been passed.

You didn't fight it when you had the chance, and now it's "The Law", and they can take your bike. Congratulations Florida Bikers! You'll soon be giving away hundreds of thousands of dollars in FREE BIKES to the State of Florida!

If you've ever dealt with a cop before, you know that the sum total of the experience is, if YOU don't have witnesses, it's his word against yours, and YOU ALWAYS LOSE in that situation. Anyone who honestly believes that any IMMENSELY PROFITABLE legislation such as this will not be instantly, immediately and repeatedly abused, is completely off their nut!

READ THE BILL: It will be IN FORCE as of October 1st, 2008!!!

For those who think that this doesn't affect them, I ask you one simple question: How many times have you ever seen a law that makes money for a police department, city, county, state, or federal government or department thereof, that didn't quickly make it's way outward to be adopted in other areas once they realized it's profit potential?

Just because it isn't in your home town today, does NOT mean that its not coming as quickly as they can find a way to do it!

Florida bikers didn't fight hard enough against this type of draconian legislation, and now they'll have to fight for their bikes--if they can--for the next few years, and that's even assuming that they CAN find a way to repeal this law!

Have enough brains and balls to realize when you're being attacked, and fight back before they take YOUR RIGHTS AWAY NEXT!!!
